OUR RESCUE PARTNERSHIP: MONA'S HOUSE ANIMAL RESCUE

The owners of Fun. Play. Bark., Elena and Marcus Cecil, also own and operate their own animal rescue called Mona’s House. In 2025, we rescued, rehabilitated and place over 160 dogs and cats! Our hosted foster dogs and cats come from local communities, animal control facilities and owner surrenders as well as North Carolina and Texas. Each dog, the majority being adults or seniors, is medically evaluated, spayed or neutered, vaccinated and brought up to date on routine health care. Several of the foster dogs and cats take up temporary residency at Fun. Play. Bark. or Fun. Play. Bark. Lodge to learn social skills while they are waiting for their forever families to come along.  Mona’s House has many opportunities for those of you that want to get involved in rescue (volunteer, foster or donation) or if you are looking to add a member to your family.  A list of available dogs and cats can be found on Petfinder.com under “Mona’s House”.  Mona’s House is not currently a 501c3 non-profit.  We are a self-funded rescue by the Rogan-Cecil Family. We are working on obtaining our non-profit status.
