Please book your boarding stays in advance to ensure we have space. We require a $53 deposit for all boarding bookings now.
Booking deposits are non-refundable for “holiday/high volume time” bookings. Call the offices for more information.
REMINDER: We only allow ONE FAMILY in the waiting area at a time. Dogs meeting on-leash in a small space can be a recipe for disaster so please be safe and respectful of each other. This means that drop-off time can take a little longer than expected.
Please plan for a few extra minutes in the morning and be patient with our staff.

Boarding:

We have a variety of enclosures to keep your pet safe, comfortable, and content while they board with us. Each boarding dog also gets to enjoy
socializing with other boarding dogs and/or daycare participants. Multi-dog household? Senior dog? Reactive dog? Dog with medical
concerns? Give us a call, or visit us and we will be happy to answer your questions and concerns.
10% discount on all boarding for current military and first responders. Dogs picked up after 10:00 AM will incur an added daycare fee.

Tips on how to best prepare your dog’s belongings for their boarding stay:
- Label ALL of their belongings
- Bring a bag that everything goes in (a tote bag, back pack, etc.)
- Bring medications in their original prescription bottles. Please do NOT put the meds in the food ahead of time, this gives our staff no control on
administering medications and we want to make sure your dog gets their medications. Also, please do NOT put pills in ziploc bags. We need
them all in ORIGINAL PILL CONTAINERS. - Food can come in a big bag or in pre-portioned bags. That is entirely up to you!
- We have a refrigerator but we have limited freezer space. If you need anything frozen, please ask ahead of time.
- Book your extra cuddles, snacks and playtime!
- Special Requests – please don’t hesitate to ask anything of our staff in regards to your dog’s care during their stay. We have a staff of
professionals and are here to help!
DAYCARE BOOKING INFORMATION:
- No walk-ins please. Dogs that show up for DAYCARE without a confirmed booking will be charged an additional $10 “drop-in” fee if we have room to accommodate them. However, if we do not have the space you will be asked to take your dog home.
- You can book daycare online (with 14 days notice), through Facebook or by calling the office @ 860-910-1882 or the Lodge office @ 860-574-9541. There may be some “last-minute” availability.
- All bookings are confirmed via email. Make sure you get your confirmation email!
- Please take time to review your booking schedule for DAYCARE online or in the office. We have had a lot of “no call, no shows” for daycare and we have a waiting list of clients that would like to get their dogs in. Please call the office by 10 AM to cancel for that day. If you are booked for
daycare and do not call before 10AM and do not show up, you will be charged for that day’s daycare. Thank you for your planning and
consideration! - If your dog is signed up for DAYCARE, but has shown clinical signs of not feeling well or an observed injury/wound in the last 24 hours, please do NOT send them to daycare. These clinical signs could be but are not limited to: vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, ingesting a non-food item or a food item not intended for a dog, passing a foreign body, coughing, nasal/ocular discharge that is yellow or greenish in color, etc. If you have specific concerns, please let us know. Remember, we are NOT medical professionals or trained vet nurses.
Go Home Baths with Matt!
We are now offering “Go Home Baths with Matt” for our boarders! This means you can add a bath, nails, ear cleaning and/or teeth brushing to your dog’s boarding stay at either location. Just let us know when you drop off your dog for boarding if you want to add a bath, etc. on to your dog’s stay. Full grooms, haircuts, etc. must be booked with Matt directly at 301-502-1893.

We have a variety of yards and fields that we can use to ensure your dog has the best possible experience while staying with us for a ½ or full day. We ask for your courtesy in booking two days in advance of your planned stay with us. We offer flexible drop off and pick-up times. Want to check us out first? No problem. We will be happy to give you a tour and a chance to meet our staff.
Half day (4 hours or less)

Do you have specific training questions and/or issues with your dog? Trainer Marcus Cecil will help you and your dog create a better bond through exercise, structure and assessing your needs and goals. Please contact Marcus directly via call or text to set up a time to meet with him one-on-one: 860-861-9240.
Private sessions are available on campus or at your home.
Training
All training is held at Fun Play Bark Lodge. We offer a six-week Basic Manners 101 class, a six-week Basic Manners (intermediate) class, a Play-n-Train program, private lessons either on campus or at your home, and a drop in dog-walking club (for Basic Manners 101 graduates). Not sure which program would be best for you. Give us a call and one of our trainers will be happy to discuss how we can best help you.
Marcus Cecil will be offering drop in group training classes on Saturday mornings at 11AM and 12:15PM on Saturday May 9, 16, 23, and 30. Cost is $35/dog each week. This class is to help you with whatever you and your dog are struggling with focusing on social skills and polite play with other dogs. Classes are sometimes held off campus. Call for more information!

Puppy socials:
Every Saturday and Sunday between 10:00 – 11:00 AM. Open to puppies not older than 8-months or dogs that are less than 2-years-old and less than 25 pounds. Proof of rabies and distemper vaccinations required. Cost $10.
Basic manners 101:
A 6-week class group class with a focus on teaching your dog basic manners such as: name recognition, pay attention, sit, walking politely, etc. $150
Basic manners intermediate:
Another 6-week group class that builds upon the skills learned in Basic manners 101. $150.
Private lessons:
Ideal for individuals/families who prefer the flexibility of meeting with a trainer on a day and time that works for their schedule. Training sessions can be held on the Fun. Play. Bark. campus or at your home.
Play-and-Train:
This program is a valued option for busy families. While your dog is enjoying a day of daycare, they can spend one hour of their day with Meghan, our ABC College Certified Senior Trainer, to focus on learning basic manners. A 6-session program lasts 6-weeks and includes a one-hour one-on-one private lesson with Meghan to review all the new skills your dog has learned. This program is available Monday through Thursday. One session per week, for 6 weeks is $275 and two sessions per week, for 6 weeks is $500. Please note, this price is for training only and does NOT include the cost of daycare.
Grooming:
Sometimes the hard jobs are best left to professionals. We are thankful to have a very talented groomer who works in both facilities. Need your dog’s nails trimmed after a day of day care? No problem. Need a breed specific full bath/trim/shape for your pooch? Dog got sprayed by a skunk? Elderly dog need a medicated bath? Preparing for a dog show? Our team of professionals can help. Prices vary.

Other Services:
Taxi Service:
Taxi service is now available for pick up between 7:00 and 8:00 AM and drop off between 5:30 and 6:30 PM. Clients must live within a 10-mile radius of Fun. Play. Bark. $10 fee for each leg of trip. An adult must be present for pick up and drop off.

Field Rental:
The large field on the left side of our driveway as you enter the campus is available for rent on a first come, first serve basis. Cost is $25 per hour for use of the space; invite as many friends as you’d like. Available 7 days a week.
